Southern Missouri Arts Connection is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting the arts and the community for the enrichment of all. The show will run March 7-29 at the SMAC Art Center on historic Downing Street.

Can I really fuse glass in a microwave? Local glass artist and SMAC member, Kat Weltha, has been fusing glass for over seven years and has turned that knowledge into an in-depth starter class.

Artist Janette Johnson will teach the techniques for making vibrant prints using a gelatin plate, acrylic paints, and a variety of marking and texturing tools.
